At Axite, we believe everyone deserves to feel seen, understood, and supported—especially when it comes to brain health. That’s why we built NeuroJournal, a revolutionary tool for tracking brain function in everyday life.

We’re a Leiden University spin-out, blending cutting-edge neuroscience, digital health innovation, and deep personal empathy into one goal:

Our Story

It started with a shared frustration: people struggling with symptoms like brain fog, seizures, and fatigue—but without answers.

No diagnosis. No treatment. Often, not even belief.

At the same time, we saw a powerful opportunity:

What if we could see the brain at work in real life, not just in clinics? What if we could turn everyday behavior into data that speaks louder than words?

So we built NeuroJournal: a home-based brain monitoring system that combines EEG technology, smartphone behavior, and machine learning to uncover what traditional tools miss.

Today, we’re working with people living with epilepsy, Long COVID, post-concussion syndrome, and other complex conditions—alongside clinicians and researchers who want better insights, faster breakthroughs, and more personalized care.
